Happy Friday! I am going through the photos from yesterday’s family shoot, and found this photo of sweet little Vera. I e-mailed it to my sister, and she actually said “oh my god, I don’t even know that little girl and I would do ANYTHING for her!”
Irit and Brendan wanted something different for their wedding. They live on manhattan so they wanted their wedding weekend to be a get-away for them and all their guests. And man what a weekend it was! It was great food and party for three days straight and I really felt like a part of the family after spending this amazing time with them. What a loving group! The wedding was held at the Full Moon Resort in upstate New York (the Catskills), about 3 hours from New York City. It’s just a shame that Irit and Brendan and their guests didn’t really know how to party…
I guess these photos speak for themselves on that point.

A weekend of pure love with family and friends- I’m so happy I could be a part of it and fun that my talented sister Jenny was the photographer. I hope she’ll be able to photograph future events like babies (wink wink) that I hope to share with Irit and Bern too!

Since I don’t have time to go to a gym and work out, I make sure I have family photo sessions planned as soon as I can. I was sweaty after this super fun shoot, and we had a blast. It was actually my first official shoot in my new studio! And this hopefully goes to show, that studio photos don’t have to be boring and static. Love love love bouncy happy laughing kids!

My cupeth runneth over, or whatever they say. After yesterday’s wedding I am so filled with love. Irit and Brendan had the most amazing wedding, and I am so happy I was a part of it. A tiny preview from their day, but lots more to come!

I have known Irit and Brendan for a long time and I’ve never seen either of them look so beautiful or happy. It’s heartwarming that you’ve captured it on film so we’ll always remember that wonderful wedding weekend up in the Catskills full of love, music, friends and family!
On this, the first day of spring (with piles of snow outside my office as I write this) I will leave the winter behind me (mentally at least) by sharing one last winter wedding. Anna and Jesper got married at Seglora church at Skansen in the heart of Stockholm and had the reception at Aquaria. We started our shoot at the hotel Diplomat, before we headed out in the chilly snowy winter weather. I am in the process of packing up to head to the states tomorrow for a wedding in upstate New York, so hopefully there will be updates from the US very soon!
