Tor Harald had insisted that he and Pernilla not see eachother before the ceremony, so this is the moment where they see eachother for the first time. 

When all eyes are turned towards the bride, I love to turn around and look at the groom’s expression. I was so moved to see Tor Harald’s eyes fill with tears when he saw his beautiful bride.Pernilla’s 50s style dress fit her bubbly personality so well!

Tor Harald (from Norway) and Pernilla (from Sweden) got married on a gorgeous day in August with immediate family and their very closest friends present. They wanted a small and intimate wedding. They were easy to photograph because they were so incredibly happy and in love, which I always say makes my job so much easier. My friend and colleague Linda Broström Cabrera of Lindísima, who is a friend of Pernilla, not only sang in the church but also made the amazing hair accessory that Pernilla is wearing. She also came along on our portrait session and snapped some photos which I will link to.

And here comes Phoebe, the Boston Terrier/ Ring Bearer!!! Actually, I can say without exagerating too much that little Phoebe was a close second in the hierarchy of importance on this day, right after the bride.

Here comes the… Boston Terrier again, Phoebe!

An impromptu group shot can actually be kind of charming.

The name signs on the tables were made of thick wire, and we found out during the dinner that Niklas and Alexandra hired a homeless man they had met once to make these for all 140 guests, and they were spectacular!

During the dinner, the weather cleared up and I stole Niklas and Alexandra away from their guests for a few minutes to photograph them in this beautiful sunset. We, I mean THEY, had such a lovely moment, and I thought it was s sweet how Alexandra teared up, so happy with her day, her groom, her husband.

Thank you for flying me out to photograph your gorgeous wedding and for being so sweet and enthusiastic. We had a ball!

I am exhausted but on Cloud 9 after an amazing wedding in London this weekend. Needless to say there are a lot of images to go through but I wanted to post this one from our portrait session. Niklas and Alexandra were so kind and sweet, and they were so much in love! I think it shows in this shot, because you just can’t fake a smile like that. This was the inspiration. Thank you so much for being so true and hope you have a wonderful honeymoon. More photos to come!

Anna and Francis gathered friends and family from something like 12 countries when they got married in Stockholm (S:ta Clara’s Church and then dinner at Systrarna Helin on Djurgården). They have endured several years of having to travel great distances to be with eachother but are now living “happily ever after” in Switzerland TOGETHER and it was so much fun to hear their story and be there and photograph them. I am posting a few favorites but may have to upload a few more soon!

Eva and Per’s wedding day extravaganza started with a lovely intimate civil marriage ceremony at Skridskopaviljongen on Kastellholmen in Stockholm. Friends and family gathered to celebrate and toasted them with champagne afterwards. But then, there was an intermission, where the groom changed into his tuxedo, the bride got made up for evening and all the guests changed into evening apparel. I got the chancce to hang out with Eva and Per and photograph them in the unique environment of Wenner-Gren Center for quite a bit before they greeted their made-over guests. During our pre-wedding meetings, we had talked a lot about what they wanted in their photos and we were inspired by an old 70’s postcard of this Swedish skyscraper. We had a great time posing in the “James Bond” bar as we called it, the stairway, funky walls… the list goes on. Anyway, here are a few of my favorite shots from their day. Thank you for letting me be a part of this unique wedding!
